Nazhoen Lamtoen welcomed the Board of Directors of the Friends of Bhutan Association, Austria for the signing of a new project agreement.
The project, “Reintegrating Vulnerable Children and Youth Through Vocational Training,” covers 2026–2027 and will strengthen vocational training programmes at YDRC, provide after-care support for children released from the juvenile centre, and enhance life-skills training for children in difficult circumstances at the Halfway Home.
The partnership is intended to strengthen practical skills, confidence and opportunities for young people as they prepare for reintegration.
Nazhoen Lamtoen also acknowledges the Royal Bhutan Police for its continued partnership at YDRC.
