Nazhoen Lamtoen handed over tailoring, bakery, salon and painting equipment to the Youth Development and Rehabilitation Centre (YDRC) of the Royal Bhutan Police.
The equipment will strengthen vocational training facilities at the centre and provide children with practical skills that support rehabilitation and future reintegration.
Nazhoen Lamtoen and YDRC have worked together since 2016 on skills development, mental health and psychosocial support, pre-release preparation and post-release reintegration.
The initiative is implemented with support from the Friends of Bhutan Association, Austria. We also thank the Royal Bhutan Police and the personnel at YDRC for their longstanding partnership.
