Exposure visit supports reintegration for children at YDRC

Nazhoen Lamtoen, in collaboration with the Royal Bhutan Police and with support from UNICEF Bhutan, organised a five-day exposure visit for children in conflict with the law at the Youth Development and Rehabilitation Centre (YDRC).

The visit aimed to support preparation for reintegration into mainstream society by giving participants greater awareness of opportunities available to them. Through visits, interactive sessions and guidance, the programme focused on building hope, resilience and a positive outlook toward the future.

Participants also attended a day-long substance use disorder mitigation and prevention programme facilitated by The PEMA.
