‘The Junction’ explores diversion for children in conflict with the law

The Junction is a short film about diversion as an alternative way of responding to children who come into conflict with the law.

Nazhoen Lamtoen has supported children released from juvenile facilities with aftercare and reintegration services since 2013. Through The Junction, the organisation aims to raise awareness of approaches that support children while helping them move forward with their lives.

The film was made with financial support from UNICEF Bhutan, in association with Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law and Identity Production.

Nazhoen Lamtoen thanks Professor Dema Lham, the JSWLS HDC students from the Class of 2022, and the cast and crew for their commitment and effort in bringing the project to life.

The organisation also acknowledges UNICEF Bhutan for its funding support, which made the production of this social-awareness short film possible.
